– Ron Hillier of Hillier Realty, Auctions and Appraisals, Cortland, Ohio, held a real estate auction June 3 in Warren, Ohio, with a good turnout.
It was advertised that the ranch home could be bought for $30,000 before the auction, but went to the winning bidder for $24,000 at the sale.
– Mark Barkley of Barkley Auctions, Zelienople, Pa., held a real estate auction May 30 in Avella, Pa.
The two-story, three-bedroom house sold for $31,000.
Toys were also sold at the auction, as an early robot brought $500 and “Big Mike” brought $350.
– Rusty, Rudy and Russell Kiko of Kiko Auctioneers and Realtors, Canton, Ohio, held the Harold Knee estate auction May 30 in Leetonia, Ohio, with more than 300 registered bidders.
Parcel one, which included the home and a building on 4.7 acres, sold for $151,000 after some spirited bidding; parcel two, consisting of 11.6 acres, sold for $38,773; parcel three, consisting of 16 acres and included a shed, sold for $53,293 and parcel four, consisting of 1.1 acres, sold for $7,500.
The top-selling item was a 2005 Buick Century with 12,000 miles that sold for $8,400.
Other highlights included Kubota G2160 lawn tractor for $3,500; a corner cupboard for $1,100; a cranberry lamp for $800; an oak flatwall cupboard for $450 and a Victorian dresser for $375.
