An informational seminar will be held March 20 at 1 p.m. at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, 7574 Canfield-Columbiana Rd., Canfield.

The seminar will cover the process in assessing energy usage, legal restrictions, grants and the wind energy applications for a home or business site.
Dale Arnold, director of Energy Services of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, will be the main speaker.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Canfield Township Trustees, Mill Creek MetroParks and the Mahoning County Farm Bureau.

Dale Arnold is a shill for the wind energy companies. Ask him about noise, flicker, migraines, infrastructure, and ACTUAL levels of production, not nameplate levels. Wind does not work in Ohio, it does not work close to people, and it does not work without government subsidies. Electricity costs will go up for everyone and the only winner is the wind company.
Mr. Nason, I read an article about a Columbiana county man who couldn’t stop singing praises about his wind turbine and its effectiveness. He did get a grant, but claims it’ll pay for itself in 5 years. What’s your opinion?

Personal wind turbines make sense. Small footprint, good return. It is the industrial wind turbines that should be outlawed around people, just like explosive factories.
