CALCUTTA, Ohio — Donald J. Moore, 63, formerly of Georgetown, Pa., died Sept. 22, 2008, at Calcutta Health Care Center following a brief illness.
He was born June 18, 1945, in East Liverpool, a son of the late Kenneth C. Moore and Nina J. Moore Stewart.
A lifelong area resident, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Union Local No. 66 in Pittsburgh until retiring in October 2007 from Pusateri Excavating.
He attended Glenmoor Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Beaver Valley Antique Equipment and Crafts Association.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine S. Rogers Moore, whom he married June 7, 1999; a daughter, Paula Guerrieri, of Georgetown, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Boling of Wellsville, and Julie Siegel of Clermont, Fla., and their families; three grandchildren, and a sister Normal L. Brandon of Georgetown, Pa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth G. Moore.
Burial services were conducted Sept. 25, 2008, by Rev. Dr. Vel Vais at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
