The picture shows John Thomas Wolfe’s grandfather, John P. Wolfe, and father, John L. Wolfe, on the horse. The John L. Wolfe family ran a dairy farm in East Letart, Meigs County, Ohio, along the Ohio River until John L.’s death in 1967. This photo was taken outside Broad Run Church in West Virginia, where John L. was born and raised. Joan adds her husband, John Thomas, at age 14 delivered milk to many houses on his way to school (of course, after helping with the milking first).
